It seems like most everyone is having a small Christmas this year. Our family is going to join that growing group. We've had a tough year financially, so not many people are getting gifts from us. My stocking usually got a green piece of paper or two (maybe $20) some candy, a few little trinkets and maybe jewelry of the inexpensive variety. My friend Renee told me she would always get fancy toothbrushes, floss, travel samples and so on in her stocking. I like that idea, especially for my husband, who has such excellent dental hygiene habits (compared to mine).
