Bob brought cheese danish into the office this morning.  Why doesn't he bring eggs, ham and toast instead?

I didn't stop at all this past weekend.  Friday night at The Robin, then Saturday up at 8:00 to pack for our trip to the lakeshore.  I made mini ham and cheese sandwiches, cut up some watermelon and brought some sunchips.  It was about a 15 minute hike from the parking lot to the shore, but a lovely and easy trip.  The forest reminded me of Robin ( Read more... )

Last night I discovered one of my favorite movies. For those of you who haven't seen it, I won't spoil the story.  Let's just say it's an unconventional love story.  You may very well be offended, especially if you're female.  I watched the behind the scenes featurettes on the DVD and the director put it perfectly: "Sometimes love isn't pretty."

Kate called me last night and somehow we got around to her social life.  She told me that she's been bringing one or two of her friends over to Grandpa's house late at night, like, 11:00 and later, to make cookies or to get pizza, drink beer and watch movies.
