Coming to VA
Aug. 10th - 15
Will be in Cville on the 10th and 11th, then in DC from the 12th-15th probably. Don't have anywhere to stay yet, so I'm looking around. -
No longer FAT!
Yay! Wii Fit told me today that my BMI is no longer in the overweight range! With a weight of 163, I am in the 'normal' range now! Huzzah!
Now to celebrate with some fried Oreos, mmm. -
WOW!
I secretly love, LOVE the way Japanese people say 'wow!', or at least, the Japanese approximation of the English exclamation. In Japanese, it comes out as 'ウワウ！' or 'Uwau!', but it's the rising then falling intonation followed by a monotone trailing off, and the use when one isn't TRULY surprised that is the winner here. Nabe Fest 2009
So, yesterday, there was a big Nabe(1) Festival in the neighbouring town (20 types of Nabe and free sake). Marriage Requirements
I realized today I couldn't marry someone unless they had an intense interest in foreign language learning and liked Chrono Trigger.
Liking Cross better than Trigger isn't a deal breaker, but they'd have to be a damn good cook to make up for that fatal flaw. -
