I know! I heard about it on the radio and just couldn't put the face with the body. For some reason I kept thinking it was the singer of Aerosmith that had died, not the Knight Tale guy! He was too damn young to overdose on sleeping pills of all things too...
Thank god he didn't have any illegitimate children (that are publicly known) to spur another Anna Nicole media fiasco. Still, it's weird to think that this guy, who was a pretty big actor for some time, is just suddenly dead. I guess this may be similar to what it was like when John Belushi died, only people are hearing about it faster because of the interwebs.
Yeah, was home flipping through channels when they broke the story.
Considering how low-key his personal life had been (according to news), it's out of character. Hoping they're able to track his last calls incoming & outgoing, so some part of his frame of mind might be gleaned.
Sir Ulric of Lichtenstein...
Yes, his career took off with A Knight's Tale, and will conclude with Dark Knight. Somewhat poetic, that. Tragically so.
Such a shame.
And the new Batman writers weren't killing him off in their story. They'd planned on future appearances of The Joker further in the series.
