A friend of mine is moving to Chicago in January. She asked me to come with her. Voted!
Got up super early to get over to Council Bluffs to vote before work. I put an hour in the meter to allow for craziness, got inside, and was the only person there. I was done with 50 minutes to spare. Woot. I am in such good mood today. Let's hope it lasts.

It’s a sad state of affairs when you miss a couple of days of work (for whatever reason - in my case, a funeral) and everyone you work with assumes you were looking for new jobs.

Speaking of which, I need a new job.

So. The past three days in brief:

-was forced to go to a horrible karaoke bar
-got yelled at in a karaoke bar by my arch nemesis
-grandma Heese died
-got a call on behalf of my friend and her ex-fiancee, notifying me that my friend is no longer getting married and that they have broken up

This weekend basically licked balls.
