Did not get the job at The Kaneko.
Having a party this weekend for a friend's birfday at my place.
Plan to get smashed and eat cake. And pretzels.
Heading to Minneapolis next weekend for some much-needed meandering and vacation time.

So, in an effort to do something worthwhile with my life, I applied at the new Kaneko gallery/library downtown. It'd be part-time and the pay is nothing much to speak of but I'd be stoked to have an opportunity to work there. Hell, at this point, I'd be willing to do it for free. So, Saturday I went with one of my old Creighton professors to a free, closed-to-the-public show at the Slowdown that was put on by One.org. Wyclef played and was, basically amazing. I saw a kid from Creighton who I still owe $40 to. There was an open bar that I towtally took advantage of. It was pretty rad. Wyclef was hilarious and his overall ( Read more... )
