I moved to LJ from a LotR forum/messageboard when a couple of my friends went there, and also, I found a nanowrimo-group there. WIth Naruto, I actively searched for a community at LJ. (Later I also found a French community, which was not female dominated as LJ is, but had abot fifty percent male participance, maybe even more. It was a nice change, actually, but my French is too bad to participate.)

tumblr - I don't plan to become really active there. I follow a couple of Jewish blogs, because I am interested in Jewish life in the US and in their position within the American Left. (Here at home, I am also interested in left-wing antisemitism.) All in all, my interests have moved to real life, and I try to spend less time in the internet.

But maybe I should also write updates once a month.
