State of the Blog
Well I've apparently been awarded Pillar of the Community. I'm not tech comfortable enough to export my blog and I just don't want to delete it. Livejournal was more or less introduced me to fandom and the internet and its sad to remember LJ's glory days -

Still not dead. Peaky Blinders had an even stronger final season than Last Kingdom and its come to my attention that I started LJ 18 years ago in May. It was my first real social media. Hope you're all doing well. -
The Last Kingdom says farewell
Season 5 was far from perfect but it was a good ending for both Uhtred and the series making it one of the few media series that stuck the landing. -
still not dead
Its been a little more than a year since my transfer; I like the job but I get nervous if I run out of things to do because of old job being eliminated for that reason. Things seem to be okay and hopefully it'll stay that way for at least 15 years. -

update
An update on my real life situation; I was able to transfer to another position in the organization I work. It pays a little more but its a big adjustment since I've gone from evening shift to day shift. I no longer rotate working weekends with a co-worker (who was also able to get a transfer) but I actually liked that because it gave me a chance ( Read more... ) -
Rambling on Real Life
My position at a hospital, medical records clerk, was eliminated. I worked there for 25 years and I'm hoping to transfer to a new position or I'm left with 4 weeks of severance pay. For 25 years.
