Yay for Kansas! My best friend lives there and has been crusading hard for some sort of leftward turn. I know she's also proud of the successful effort to increase voter registration. We made out pretty well here in Oregon too. All in all, a relief, if not ideal. :)

I've learned to have low expectations for Kansas elections; I learned early that some people will vote for Republican no matter what; even if its against their interest. Just enjoy the good when it comes and I'm delighted to hear that you're happy with Oregon's elections.
