I bet your kids would love to read your journal - but your grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, even more so. You'll have read or heard of letters and diaries from the twenties? I wouldn't normally go looking for them, it's true, but when I stumble across them I'm fascinated. The things they worried about, the language, even the names. You could well be writing that for the 2060s crowd.
