What do you love about autumn?
I don't. Autumn is my least favorite season, even if it is the season in which I was born. I dislike the shortening of days. Winter is much more agreeable to me because at least the days are getting longer. Spring is hopeful and summer is the most fun of them all. -

It is 7 p.m. and I've found that now that the school year has started, I have no idea what to do with myself now that I don't have grad school after I get home. I could so some work....but that gets boring after awhile. I could go to the gym..but somehow I don't. I take a nap sometimes. I just got word that my proposal for an adapted version of "Romeo and Juliet" has been approved for posting by DonorsChoose.org. I am hoping to teach it to my 9th-10th graders this year. Rock Band
I am one to frown on excessive video game playing...especially since I'm a teacher. But, I must admit that I find the game "Rock Band" to be awesome. It's like Guitar Hero, but it also has a drummer, bass player, and a singer. It's really quite fun. The drums are by far my favorite. I've been playing it a lot since we got the game this Christmas.

Overwhelmed
Right now, I just feel so overwhelmed with school.....by school, I mean graduate school. Unfortunately, I also have a job which is time consuming. So, I guess I feel overwhelemed by both. The child that punched my coworker last year is in my class this year. On Wednesday, I was telling the kids how saying mean things was toxic and not something that makes you feel good.
