Today, I returned a quiz from Monday to my small group 10th grade class. 1 student got a 94%, 1 got an 89%, 1 got an 85%, 1 got a 45%, 1 got a 19%, 3 got a 12%, and one genius got a 2%. I've just discovered this service called e-music. It's a music downloading service that focuses on independent music and/or classics. It's truly great. I signed up and got the first 75 downloads for 99 cents, but I love it so much that I think I'm going to have to continue subscribing to it. There are days, like today, when I was taking the train back from Connecticut when I thought to myself that the whole New York area is pretty inconsequential to me. Only two more weeks until......Easter vacation. 

On Friday, I went to the Lenox Lounge with Jeremy. It's a well-renowned jazz club in Harlem that had been neglected for awhile but which was renovated in 2000. It still has the original art deco decor from 1939. It's a pretty cool place, and the music there is fabulous. http://www.lenoxlounge.com/

This weekend was really fun. I went kharaokeing with some friends in the village. It's not the type of kharaoke where you have to sing in front of an entire bar, no, they give you little rooms for you and your friends to hang out in. It's pretty cool. Yesterday, I noticed cones in front of my house. Today, I see what looks like a truck for people to work out of. This will be my fourth consecutive year as an LJ-user. A lot of live journal friends have come and gone in the years. Past LJ-fanatics have grown bored of the site and have deleted their accounts.
