Hello All,

I just got word that my proposal for an adapted version of "Romeo and Juliet" has been approved for posting by DonorsChoose.org. I am hoping to teach it to my 9th-10th graders this year. It's really disgusting that we don't already have an adapted version given how high our ESL population is. At any rate, I think it will be really ( Read more... )

Looks like a really good proposal to me. But, tucked away in the corner of the payment page:

DonorsChoose.org cannot accept donations from non-U.S. citizens.

Baaaaaaah, that's arse. Do you have a Paypal account or similar?

Ed, I am amazed at your generosity. I greatly appreciate your help. It's funny though. I didn't even get a chance to post your donation to DonorsChoose (until a moment ago), and the Shakespeare proposal has already been funded. As such, your donation is going to the science proposal, which can be seen here:

(It's tells me , as the teacher, that it is partially funded, but then it is still not showing that this is partially funded yet to the general public. Maybe they have to verify that I'm not a terrorist before it's posted.)
