Today Naftali displayed some fantastic imaginative play: he bit a piece off a graham cracker, looked, at it, and showed it to us saying "you see the truck? you see the truck cracker?" and it really did look like a truck! I was impressed.

More evidence that having a baby turns you into a sap: I got teary watching this video and then actually pledged money to his campaign. I'm sorry Hillary, but you haven't gotten me weepy yet.

We're hosting 9 people for dinner tomorrow- the biggest crowd in a long time- so we turned our bedroom into a dining room. We turned to nursery into our bedroom, and the living room got all rearranged. Everyone's getting used to the new look and I think we're going to like it. The usual Friday scramble. In addition to making food for Shabbat (see menu below) and and cleaning we attacked a closet today that has been a source of frustration for months.
