Oh for crying out loud, Mac has a chunk of his lip missing this morning. The vet is en route to look at stitching it.
I think it was a bite from a neighboring pasture horse, over the fence, because I can find zero evidence of him slicing it in his pen.
Seriously, horse, this is not how I want to spend my Saturday.

We went and saw Catching Fire last night. Holy heck monkeys!!!! I though it was soooo well done. I already want to see it again!
Still cold here, but I am actually chugging through my list of tasks for the weekend because I am stuck inside. My Christmas letter is done, and some of the cards are out. I finished pricing stuff in a huge long list for ( Read more... ) -

I finished my 100 books for the year!

I am exhausted. We called it an early day today, because not only was it an insane week of moving and packing, and unpacking, and arranging, it's also hella freezing and windy up here for us to start work. And I have been sleeping like crap here. Maybe for a few more days. I never sleep well in a new spot.

I am tired of moving. It seems like we do this every year (or year and a half). Which we do. And the apartment isn't ready in UT, so we'll be moving into a temporary apt, and then moving AGAIN once the apartment in the barn is ready.
le sigh.
Life adventure, right? Hard to have adventure without something to overcome! -
to celebrate instead of rant!
Kent has been my best friend for almost 13 years now (and that includes the time we were broken up, which made me so MAD that I couldn't make him stop being my best friend in my heart, but I guess it all worked out?)
and today is our 4th anniversary! Huzzah! -

Aaaaaand then my "new to me" car blew a front engine seal today, leaked all the oil out of the engine, and I spent three hours at a Jiffy Lube waiting for a tow. Brilliant. What I wouldn't give for a boring week, y'all.
