i finished 2 paintings yesterday. a heron and a newfoundland. the newfoundland is zeke, who was my mom's cousin's dog.

You've managed to do a lot what with the fevers and all. I want to say "be careful" but I know what it's like to live alone and have things that have to be done. I did it, too. It's life. I just really hope you feel better soon. You have no idea how sad it makes me that you're going through all of this.

The library books she sent to me this month aren't cutting it. I read the first few chapters and then shut the book and put it back into the bag. Not a great way to start the new year. I have another couple of weeks before I get new books.

too bad about the fevers. that sounds awful. it's too bad too that you have to do chores while you feel so sick. i just let them go.
