i actually really like the goddess religions, as well. it has always been comforting that there is some kind of spirit or goddess or god that you can go out and touch. that the spirit is constantly moving around you and breathing and talking through nature, through something that we see and hear everyday when we're just walking outside to go to class. it's an incredible feeling and belief.

Something to keep separate is the Old Testament God from the New Testament God. They are very different. Also, I know this is hard, but don't confuse the message and the messenger. In religion, the messenger would be the religious leaders or its people in general. But usually the message is good, it just gets changed as people get involved

what about a god that is more of a spirit that exists in the wind, in the sun, the moon, nature, in other people. something that is here, with us, not somewhere out there, something that works through us and through animals. something that speaks to us, that shows us, that teaches us just by bringing out the stars, making the wind blow.
