Dale passed away early in the morning on August 24th, 2004.

The local paper wrote up a very nice obituary for him here

It's really hard to stay here at work, when I just found out that the local Fry's opened up last night, and the grand-opening sales start this weekend.

I really want to drive down to Renton, NOW....

In other news, the Hot Tub o' Doom should finally be functional tommorow, as the electricians are supposed to finish hooking up the power to it tommorrow morning, so I'll be ensuring that it's filled and running when I get home from work.

I sometimes forget how quiet it is here at work when my manager is out of the office, and the other leads are out too.

Whoa. I'm the only lead on my team present? Perhaps I should send everybody home early.
