So... the baby may or may not be coming out sooner than my Aug. 30th due date. I was suppose to be at 36 weeks today and I had an ultrasound today to confirm that the baby has turned and that I am no longer breach. Weekend-y Goodness
Had a very good weekend actually. Teresa threw me a babyshower this past Saturday and her and Daniel whipped up a surprise for me -- My mom and grandma (Mom-Mom) came! OK, so sometimes completely hilarious things come out of the most mundane tasks. Take for instance, our Maternity Tour at Presby hospital. It's just a tour of the hospital and of the actual maternity ward, going over where we need to check in, what to bring, etc...

I Need a Muzzle
Today I had a dr. appt., and they sent me to a different doctor than I usually see -- This way in case my dr. isn't available on the day of my delivery I am not stuck with someone I've never met before, which is cool. Morning Quickie
* New (to us) washer & dryer delivered yesterday. They work, - huzzah.
* Old washer is drained (the drain stopped working, hence getting rid of it) and the three day old water that had been sitting in it has made a gag-inducing smell in the house. No amount of febreeze and/or lighting of candles has helped. The guy is coming to pick it up today and ( Read more... ) -

On Friday Daniel and I decided that since we had nothing to do this weekend, we would attempt a day trip to Charleston on Saturday. I NEEDED to swim and our pool is out of commission at the moment with the construction they are doing to the clubhouse. Holy Hell Batman!
So, we got SO much accomplished this weekend. My body is paying for it now, but it was worth it.
Painted the nursery -- And even more exciting, we didn't fight once! I don't know if it was the classic rock that kept us in good spirits or the fact that by painting the nursery made things that much more real, but either way, we got it done and it ( Read more... )
