I feel the same way about Terry Pratchett. Love his stuff so much.

I've never liked Pratchett, but that might be because I've never read the right ones, kind of like the way some people feel about Vance. Any recommendations for me?

I can definitely second the suggestions - well, the ones I've read. Vance is a superb writer - he has a knack for amusing conversation I've seen in no other writer.

a question for you? mystchainsister August 3 2004, 12:05:08 UTC
I have tried to find your recent entries, to read them, and all I am getting is back to July 29? then it goes into 2003. Did you delete some or am I just doing something wrong?
thanks

That's odd - I have made posts recently (and I never delete anything), so I don't know why they wouldn't be showing up for you. You're on my Friends list, so you should see everything. The only thing I can think of is that you might not be logged in, so you wouldn't see the protected entries. Have you checked that you are indeed logged in?

(I did this the other day - I went through my Friends page and comments, then realised that not only couldn't I see half of my friends' entries, but my comments hadn't posted. Grrr!)

Hi! I just friended you. I meant to do it ages ago but I am so slow. Thing is, I have my lj on permenant log in so I didn't see my unlogged in front page until I was doing something else and had to log out. Thank you so much, I would love it if you friended me. Any friend of the Squizzer etc!
