I felt so sorry for Shane too! I'm sure he feels awful about the things he's done wrong, and the circumstances with Lori, and just everything, but yeah. No.

Dixon backstory would make me so happy. I am so eager to see more of Daryl.

Wikipedia tells me s2 will arrive in October...hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

I think February would just be way too soon, realistically. also they'd have started advertising it already.

Daryl Daryl Daryl. ♥ Reedus is doing an excellent job.

Can you point me to any existing fic? Have you written any?I don't even know where to start looking.

Shane is pretty much my favorite character. I mean, yes, Rick is the protagonist of the story, but Shane is the flawed hero character, and I am SUCH a fucking sucker for those. He doesn't know how to deal and he's spiraling out of control and I LOVE IT.

WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO MERLE, MORGAN, AND DUANE INDEED. I fucking love Daryl though so I don't care as long as he stays. I think I might read a few issues of the comics to answer some of these questions. I was trying not to read too far ahead b/c I don't wanna be spoiled, but A YEAR TO WAIT IDK IDK.

Shane is, if nothing else, always an interesting character. Rick is pretty flawed too, though - he's a bit of a self-righteous asshole himself, especially in a less bamf-y, more civilian context. the two of them always remind me of that line from The Princess Bride: "We are men of action. Lies do not become us." because they both thrive when they have people to protect and action to take, and they stagnate and stutter and Shane at least loses his bearings and makes mistakes when they don't have that frantic rush to ground them.

omg daryl ♥

I had wanted to read the comics before watching the series, but I couldn't get the first volume in time. ;____; I do want to read them, though.

GURL YOU DONE WON ME OVER REFERENCING THE PRINCESS BRIDE. But yes, I see what you mean. They're two different sides of the same coin, so to speak.

If you're not against downloading, I have every issue...
