yep, it's kind of late and I had nothing better to do than start this live journal thing. Hey, I thought well all my friends are doing it, maybe I should too. And those would be the friends that I'm 1,400 miles away from right now. I really miss veronica and all the awesome advice she gives... I miss joe and his funny yet weird humor... then there'

You know that saying 'You don't know what you have until you lose it.' I know you've heard it. That's what's going on. You thought you'd be genuinly happier down there, and you're just not feeling it yet. You will. You'll see the difference. It will take time though. But you know that. It will take time to adjust, but everything worth while takes time. It won't be that same as NY, don't expect that, and I know you aren't. You will make new friends, become re-acquainted with old ones, and re-visit family. You will start having a good time. I promise that.

On the (very) off chance that you just can't get out of this funk that you are in, don't worry! Everything will work itself out. (And you always have a place to crash for a night, or even a year or two!)

I love you and don't miss anything about me dammit, just call me and we can talk about whatever it is you need to talk about!!!

And about trying to please people- STOP IT! You have to be happy before you can expect to make anyone else happy! Remember that.
