Quilting!

I'm going to try to be better about posting.  Not likely, but worth a shot.

So I have a new obsession - quilting!  I love it so incredibly much.  I have finished quilts for each of the boys, have pieced and have partially hand quilted a wallhanging, and am currently working on quilts for my grandmother's birthday and Jim's grandmother's birthday -

My mom is a quilter. It seems to be some type of drug-like activity, because she is obsessed with it too. But we bear the fruits of her labor -- i have a bunch of really great, unique quilts. Ethan has some nice baby quilts, a fun truck quilt, and Rachel will be amassing her collection soon!

Wow! What a hobby! I have a friend who owns a quilting shop and owns her very own long arm quilting machine. It is cool to watch. I'm impressed! I've never liked/been good at any kind of sewing. Heck, I take her my buttons to sew on for me! :) Good to hear from you!
