I love it that each child has a book. (And I'm looking forward to the Blackwell Page trilogy!)
I wish I'd found out the name of the night nurse when my second son was born. The way she greeted him--it was like they were old friends already, and she was thrilled in a peaceful, nighttime sort of way to spend time with him again. I've always regretted not finding out her name so I could pass on my thanks.
And I agree--good agents are worth SO much! Especially when you send them something they weren't expecting and they're still happy to read as if this was a perfectly normal and expectant thing to do.
