Babies are sensitive to their mothers' moods in such a profound manner that it borders on telepathy. I was just discussing over LJ comments a wicked crush I had in high school-- the guy in question is Indian, and my child just asked me to play the "Bend It Like Beckham" DVD. Spooky!!! :)

I know we've all pondered the age-old questions that make existence so mysterious. Like this one:
