Ok, I normally don't post about my dreams, but this one left a surreal taste in my mouth that has lasted all day. (If you're wondering what surrealism tastes like, a cup of fur.)

The other day, my little boy was talking about getting married (he's three), so I asked him whether he wanted to marry a girl or a boy?

He thought about it for a minute, then replied, "A girl."

"What kind of girl will you marry?"

He thought for another minute, then said, "A silver girl."

I am so depressed about the election. Not the national results, mind you, but the local results.

I live in a state which overwhelmingly voted to write discrimination against gays into our constitution.

What's next, "Straights Only" drinking fountains?

I'm posting this for a laugh, because anyone who knows me knows I've never been near Philadelphia in my life. In fact, due to a misspent 1990's in front of syndicated TV reruns, I'm afraid I will always associate Philly with The Fresh Prince, so when I think Philadelphia accent, I think Will Smith.

I find it amusing that Brendan has watched the first disc of Fellowship of the Ring a million times, loves Gollum, and has made pretend-friends with the Ringwraiths, yet he deems Finding Nemo too scary. :-)
