i just had the most relaxing weekend! i went to visit laura in parksville on vancouver island. she'd doing her two month pharmacy practicum there. i went over friday night and just got back. the weather was amazing - so hot and sunny! we spent the past two days sun tanning at the beach and by the pool at the resort that she's staying at. last night ( Read more... ) -

ok so my last post was a bit premature. i didn't actually end up getting the condo after all. i was pretty disappointed on friday when i found out, but it's probably for the best. there was some complicated financial things going on with the building and had i gotten it, i might have to deal with some really big money issues in the future ( Read more... ) -

sophie turned one on thursday - i can't believe how quickly the past year has gone by! ben and alissa had a birthday party on saturday and it was lots of fun! sophie is so cute!

wow!
ok so i finally heard back from the seller at 7:45pm tonight! his counter offer is so crazy i don't know whether to laugh or be really upset. they were originally asking $220K for a place that is so full of stuff and dirt that you can't even tell what colour the carpet is! i offered $192K with a closing date of October 31. i'm looking for a notebook that instead of pages has pockets. there was one at the VAG gift shop and i should have just bought it - i've just spent the past hour looking for one on the internet and i can't even find anything close! does anyone know of such a thing? where i can buy one? ugh! this is so frustrating ( Read more... ) -

so i found a place! i'm meeting with my realtor tomorrow to draw up the offer. they're asking $220 000 but the place is beyond messy - it's almost sick, there's stuff everywhere, piled to the ceiling - you can't even access the bedroom closet or bathroom because of all the stuff everywhere! because of that and the fact that it's been on the market ( Read more... ) -

well my realtor called me at 4:25pm this afternoon right as i was getting ready to go meet him at the condo we were going to view - the one that i really liked. he called to say that the other realtor wasn't going to show up and so i shouldn't come - also, he didn't think that it was a good idea to even look at the place because it is only an 8 ( Read more... ) -
