Heh, I gave up on exclusively breastfeeding first with her in NICU, then with her losing weight b/c my supply was trying to catch up with her not being home to breastfeed often. Wondering if I have a supply issue too (no leaks and not able to pump much between feedings.) We at least found an organic formula I don't hate - though Alicia doesn't like the bottle much, even if it's my pumped milk. No guilt needed - we do what we need to for the health of our kids.

Wow, that is really small for 5 months. The doctor is predicting Teddy will weigh over 10 lbs at his 1 month appointment on Monday (he was 7 lbs 15 oz at 3 days and 8 lbs 15 oz at 10 days).

Boys tend to grow more quickly than girls. Alicia is 7 lbs. 5 oz. currently and she's not much younger than Teddy.

I'm so glad she's growing more now! Don't feel guilty about supplementing with formula, just be happy that we have healthy formula available that she likes.
