My grandma (mom's side) died yesterday morning. It was not unexpected, but it is hard. This is my second grandparent to die in less than a year now. With Gramps, I knew he was sick and fading fast when I visited last summer, so I feel like I have some closure there, but Grandma was totally fine last summer. Right after I posted the last one, I realized that I forgot to mention that Ally now also can sign "all done." Tis helpful. Since then she has also learned to do "I love you," (although she only has the thumb and first finger in it, so it actually looks like she is calling us a loser, lol) and "more." So baby girl is now up to 50th percentile for weight!!! Yay!!! Finally! :) So happy about this news. She is also good on all her developmental stuff, not that I doubted that at all. It was kinda fun filling out the developmental questionnaire, though. Some of the questions I would never have thought to test her on otherwise, hehe ( Read more... )
