I've had LOTS of free time on my hands spent sitting in the backseat of the rented mini van, while my stepdad drove hours and hours to our final destination: home. I must say it has been highly enjoyable :) Since my dad doesn't believe in sleeping in, staying up late, or laziness one bit, we've been out almost every waking hour of our days.
