Last night I was watching the season premiere of The Bachelor in Paris. This show, like the others before it, has a strange appealing quality but at the same time is also very repulsive. This is one of the reasons that the only way I watch TV shows is on DVD. Hope things are going well.

That's part of the reason I'm planning to get Netflix - good TV shows on DVD!

Yep, TV is awful.

The only channel I watch regularly these days is PBS, and we never bothered getting cable when we moved in 2 years ago.

Yeah, it's really sad. Even the TV shows I thought were good, like Numbers, has been degraded into solving meaningless murder cases. So much for using math to solve other sorts of investigations.
