Thats one reason I chose BU so I could be part of the choir and the Boston University Orchestra or Band.... I just couldnt seem myself without that for the rest of my life. I'd miss it too much.

It does seem pretty typical for concerts all around high schools nowadays.

Here's a good trick to get into any high school event. Come dashing in looking for the director/conductor/coach of a team and tell the ticket people that you missed the bus/train/monorail that the kids took in. Carry a kid's gym bag or carrying case appropriate to the event. Pretend that they're standing in the way of the acheivement of your youngster or high school friend (who may or may not exist). They're pretty much as PR conscious as they are greedy. Play the "Volunteer assistan" card and get uppity. The other parents in line will beg them to let you through if they don't actually pay your way. Hooray for youth ministry benefits!
