So I just read the coolest book ever. One of my students let me borrow her copy. It is called Kingdom Keepers, but Ridley ?? (forget the last name). Anywho, it is about these 5 kids that get picked to be holographic hosts at the MK. I would just like to wish everyone a happy holiday weekend!

So my visit with Sissa was great! She arrived on Monday, and I was there waiting for her at the airport. We relaxed Monday afternoon. I showed her the school where I work, my small town of Alpharetta, took her by to see my parents, and had dinner at Wendy's. So Sissa is most likely at the bus stop right now, and shortly on her way to Atlanta! I am super excited because most of the time I fly and see everyone. This time, I have someone coming to visit me!!! I love playing tour guide, so it makes me happy. I'll update again when the trip is over and tell everyone how it went.

I had a magical moment today. A student came in for an early morning study session. He was early, so I asked him to study a bit and wait a few minutes. He then started to ask me about Space Mountain. So this is the worst time of the school year, the start of the breakdown if you will. First off, teachers by this point are burnt out. I had my first trip to Savannah a few days ago, and my first middle school convention. I really liked Savannah (although I can see what Dave meant, it is definitely built for tourists). My new favorite ride is Expedition: Everest! It is the most amazing thing ever, and quite photogenic I might add. I bought a pin for my lanyard (which I have no more room on, but I'll make it fit!).
