So am finding myself with a very rare opportunity to log on and see what is going on outside the Rincewind bubble. Life is good. We had a lovely few days in Cornwall, including taking the kids to the beach twice! It was just what we needed. The wedding was good though long winded - the ceremony lasted 90 minutes! Goodness gracious me c-sections are a bloody weird experience! Firstly there was all the hanging around on Friday the 12th waiting and waiting, getting litterally to the door in my surgery stockings and NHS nightie at 6.30pm only to be told they could not do it and come back tomorrow. Yep, we have moved house... Finally out of Patchway. No drunks, chavs on motorcycles or drug deals outside our house from 4pm to about 5am. Just the same little songbird who sits on the roof of 4 different houses singing his little heart out all day, every day. Even the bus took 20 minutes this morning instead of the usual 1hour ( Read more... )

Kira's birthday trip to the Zoo was a lovely day out. The kids played heartily and we all had a good wander round. Naturally Kira got a bit fractious towards the end of it all.
