Okay, I was just reading the article posted by teegertheelmur and thinking about the so called "emerging" church. Now I'm not against the idea of restructuring the way we do church, sitting on couches, having discussions, drinking cofee instead of sitting in pews. Ughhh.... here we go. Its headed for a direct hit on baldwin county where I live. I'm getting ready to head off, and I hope things are still here when I get back. :-) I'm hoping I can get back to Mississippi college afterwards. Pray.

Sad days, I can't decide if I should go home. I don't think this hurricane is going to hit us, but I can't imagine if it does. We JUST finished getting into our house, and don't really know it the roof is in good shape. I just don't know if I shoudl travel home, but I sure do want to see my fam.

Hmmm... I just got called legalistic. That's a first for me, they didn't really say it unkindly, it was more just making fun of me for my stance on purity. Oh well... no discouragement here, mainly shock.

I had an opportunity to share the gospel with a nine year old boy today at some apartments. He had never heard of Jesus, but when I shared the gospel and asked him if he would like to know Jesus, he was very excited and said yes. He even prayed his own prayer, and afterwards smiled and said "I feel like I"m falling!". I'm geussing that's a good ( Read more... )
