Yay! Woot! I was really sad when Grey's Anatomy didn't win for anything, too, and about gave up on the stupid Emmy show. Boo. And then! The end! Yay!!!
Yeah, I was sad about Grey's Anatomy. It's always so funny when they get nominated for so many awards, and then they win nothing. I really thought they would win best drama! And I thought one of the actresses would win in best supporting actress--they both deserve it like crazy.
Oh well. At least we got The Office!
(And in reference to your icon, even though I've already said/sang this once tonight...)
it is a shame about steve carell, but if anyone else was going to win that category, i would have wanted tony shaloub, so i was satisfied. (i also can't remember who else was nominated at the moment, but i remember thinking that when i heard the list, i thought that the only people who ought to win were steve or tony.) do you watch monk at all? it's definitely a good show, and he does that character *so* well.
and i missed the beginning of that opening - i turned it on i think around when conan was in the part referencing 24, but then i saw it replayed on a morning show today and i saw it from the beginning. the office's part was definitely the best :)
Oh, I heart Tony Shaloub in Monk. He plays OCD SO WELL. I know you love the Office, but I heart Monk and it's a brilliant brilliant show. I wish it were on NBC, ABC or CBS so I could watch it regularly!
