Is there anyone in Louisville interested in going to see Amos Lee with me this Friday at WFPK's Live Lunch? It's free!

I've never been to a Live Lunch before, but I'm guessing it'll be pretty crowded, so I'll probably get there relatively early.

Any interest anyone out there?

live lunch is pretty fun. you get to walk through wfpk and see all the studios and offices and people and stuff like that. i've been for rhett miller, sol 17, and elephant micah. sometimes it's crowded, sometimes not, depending on who's playing. but yeah, i'd say get there early if there's any doubt. and don't forget to bring a lunch!

i went to a live lunch 5 or 6 years ago and really enjoyed it. (i went to see satchel's pawn shop, whose frontman worked at my office.) i think i got there late (had to do it on a quick lunch break), and just snuck in the back. but if you have the time, it might not be a bad idea to get there early. yay! :)

Oooh oooh ooh!! It's Friday at noon. Noon to one, I believe. I was probably planning on getting there at 11:30, which is when the doors open. I could try and save you a seat! (Although I don't know if they let you do that. Maybe!)

Oh damn... My lunch is 11:30- 12:15. Even if I switched with someone, I don't think 45 minutes would be enough time to get there and back and get to really enjoy it. Plus, I have a sneaking suspicion someone at work is buying me lunch tomorrow in honor of my last day.

But, anytime after tomorrow, I am free! Until I get another job. If I ever get around to it.
