So. A 30% chance of thunderstorms, possibly severe, are forecast for this afternoon at around 2. In my experience of Louisville weather, this actually means it will be totally sunny all day. How am I supposed to know whether or not to bike to work?

If I drive, it will be totally sunny all day. If I bike, it will rain.

I'm never going to the track or having anything to do with horse racing ever again.

Just looked out my window and one of my neighbors is standing on his front porch talking to a guy in a Santa suit.

Yeah.

I bought a laptop "for grad school"... But I think the biggest perk so far is getting to sit on my front porch during the thunderstorm and work on my novel.

Here's hoping the wind doesn't start gusting too much and force me inside...

You know you read way too many audiobooks when you start picking them out based on the narrator...

Just had a frustrating morning refrigerator shopping. Not that we need one, but we could use one more energy efficient and less ugly, that doesn't lean forward and is the same color as the other appliances in the kitchen.
