This morning my throat was bothering me and I was coughing a little, so after I ate lunch I took some cough syrup. I went to fold laundry, laid down, and woke up four hours later. Apparently I took the nighttime stuff instead of the day stuff.

At least I missed the magazine sellers that plague my street on a regular basis...

The old guy across the alley from me mowed his grass from 8:30 to 11:00 this morning. His yard that isn't deck or filled in pool is about 15 x 40 feet. Which should take, at most, about 20 minutes. I hate how some graduate programs claim to be for people that already have bachelors degrees who decide they want to go into a new field... And they make a big deal about how quickly you can get that degree... And then they have 1-2 years worth of prerequisites that you have to take before you can even get into the program ( Read more... )

Well, I've decided to do the career counseling anyway. Paul talked to his Dad about it, and he said he didn't think it was too expensive for all the stuff they do for you. He also said that they don't do job placement, but that they have tons of contacts in the community and they help you there if they can. It's just not part of the service, ( Read more... )
