Hearing speculation about the blue melons responding to sound, Axel decided to try a different method in a different field. He arrived with his guitar in hands and, with no respect for the fact that he hadn't actually remembered how to use it, began playing and singing Johnny B. Goode loudly to the entire row.

His singing voice was fairly professional, but the guitar solo was a disaster.

One melon smacked his face and bounced onto the ground. The others flew above him and rolled a bit before halting. All intact, beautiful weapons.

Sol grabbed Axel's guitar and smacked the red melons with it. After what the demon had done to it by raping so many songs, surely it could survive a beatdown that was nothing in comparison.
