South of town is a thick forest. If Memento Eden were bound by logic -- which it isn't -- then the tall trees with their ring count would dictate that this is an ancient forest. The trees are so large and prosperous that they block out the sun, giving a haunted air to an already unusually silent wood. There is nothing growing on the forest ground, ( Read more... )

"I'll be back to you momentarily." Wesker growled. The rainbow melons were obviously more difficult- time to try his luck elsewhere. He knew when to cut his losses.

...eventually.

Red #5. He'd tried blood already- now for violence. Wesker raised his foot and stomped down hard.

The melon rolls under the impact, but shows no sign of collapse.

Tiring of this try-one-fail-one routine, Wesker tried out a varied assortment of hand-to-melon techniques- from karate to chopping to gentle prodding. "I can do this all day, melons."

At the first crack of the stone knife, the melon explodes with a resounding crack, covering the man in squishy fruit-guts.

Well, that had effectively killed an afternoon.

He'd humiliated and debased himself, and was rewarded with... being covered in melon guts. Though the feeling was somewhat familiar.

"Ridiculous." Wesker muttered. He turned on his heels and left without a glance back...

...at least, that was the plan. As he walked back towards the field's entrance, he happened to look down at Rainbow #5. His old nemesis. Sure, he had succeeded in destroying a melon- but the shimmering fruit laid there, as if accusing him with its silent stare.

Mocking him.

The shaded villain stood there for a moment, face impassive, apparently struggling with a major internal decision.

After about a minute of silence he bent down, scooped up the melon in one arm, and left the scene. No more of this idiocy. I'll destroy you as well... in a more controlled environment.
