Jake and I are moving to Minot, ND May 8! I'm really excited to be settled some place for more than 9 months at a time. We're going to visit some friends and family on the drive up and get into Minot May 15. This is, of course, all if his class graduates May 4 as scheduled.

Is there any other kind?

Postage went up stealthily. It's now 39 cents to mail a letter.

Ah, the new year. Jake and I have now been married over a year. We drove to Wyoming for Christmas, stopping to visit family along the way. We spent our anniversary in Estes Park, CO. We spent New Year's Eve with some family north of Denver, and we visited friends and family on the drive back. All in all, we were gone 14 days!

Well, winter must be here. We had our first freezing temperatures the night before last. I tried to turn on the heater yesterday morning, but it was nothing-doing. Rather than freak out and assume that it was broken, I decided to give my non-fix-it self a chance and poke around in the furnace closet to see what was up. Jake and I got the news Thursday evening that we'll be moving to Minot, ND in the summer of 2006. Our other option had been to stay here at Barksdale for another three more years, which we had originally wanted. Who knew the whole thing was gonna be rigged? The first fight should NOT have been won like that! The other two fights were decided by obviously corrupt judges who wanted the same people to win who won on the show. That is so horrible.

Who wants to go to the fair? A perfect opportunity to visit me and have a little fun! Let me know if you want to go. The fair is October 27th-November 13th in Shreveport :)
