Being a student.
I'm in the middle of midterms. I want their outcome to matter to me just enough for me to do well on them. But tests are arbitrary -- what are the consequences of passing, but not raising my GPA? I'm already below the desired cutoff for GPA making me look good. Why bother ( Read more... ) -

Caramel and Tarragon Ice Cream
...is sitting in my freezer now. It's the first ice cream I've made in a while, due to not having an ice cream maker -- I'm just solid-freezing this one. Too awake.
Meh, it happens. I've been having a bit of trouble falling asleep lately, possibly because of the small amount of stuff I've been doing during the day. Been waking up at 9AM or earlier every day, though -- the alarm goes off at 9, but sometimes living with noisy family members or a dog or a lightning clap or the sun means I'm up earlier.
