Started off the new year with some really great friends. Had a blast playing 80's trivial pursuit, drinking some fine drinks and eating yummy food. I just checked by bank account balance and finally after waiting over a month the County of Alameda has cashed my check to file for divorce. Of course this is just the beginning of the process which takes about 6 months. There is stil much paperwork to do, forms to sign, etc. but hopefully I will get something from the court soon saying that I have ( Read more... )

So today has been a day of listening to Battery's Aftermath album over and over. I need more songs like this. More songs to make me feel angry and not sad about my situation. I know I have lots of songs but I'm just not thinking very clearly right now.

Thank you to all that gave me costume ideas. Though Jamie's idea was tempting (not really), I have decided to be Satine from the Moulin Rouge. I just signed the contract to have the black diamonds costume made for me! This is the one Nicole Kidman wears during her first performance of "Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend".

OK back to work now...

HELP! I need to come up with 2 Halloween costumes. I'm terrible at coming up with ideas so I thought maybe someone out there would have a good idea I could work with. Stupid cramps! Every month I go through this pain. And it always gets in the way of something. Tonight I was planing on going to the Combichrist show at DNA with a stop in to Drunk Monkey at Cat's.
