Imperfections

Why is it that we, as human beings, don't wish for things to be perfect? Why do we prefer a little sin mixed in with our righteousness? Why is the "bad boy" image so attractive? Why is there such a thing as "too much of a good thing"? Or something being "too perfect"? Why do we scrape off the frosting on our cake? Why do we hate "little miss ( Read more... )

LOL sorry for being obscure.

All I meant was that most people, when they get a piece of cake with sugary frosting, scrape the frosting off and don't eat it because it's too sugary.

My point was...why is it too sugary? Why is it too sweet? I was equating sweetness with perfection. Why can't we handle more than a mouthful of it?

Wow... well put.

I think we're all still deceived. We have a certain amout of faith in the truth but in our remaining doubt we embrace what is false as if it were truth.
