Wow, very interesting, Melinda -- and very educational for a farm gal like myself. ;-) We have been to LA a couple times to visit Daddy's sister and family. The last time was in 1990 and I just remember enough to know that I'd *never* want to live there myself. ;-)
Yeah, I noticed you were slightly off on some of your answers. ;-)
LOL -- that's putting it mildly! I was outright guessing on most of them. ;-)
LOL well, I didn't have a choice to live here, but I'm content where God put me! :-)
That's a great attitude to have! We've had quite a few "city people" over the years tell us that they could never handle living on a farm and (as we do) rarely going to town. So I think a lot of it is what you get used to. God grants each of us grace, strength, and interests to be compatable with precisely the place He's put us. :-)
Generally the drivers here are very bad drivers. False. LA has some of the best drivers in the world. They seem to drive crazily (not using turn signals, tail-gating like crazy, driving way over the speed limit, etc.), but they are very skilled drivers. It's amazing how infrequently they crash! that is true but they are the scariest drivers though! Many actors and actresses live in Los Angeles. True. They're all over! Many live in Malibu (a gorgeous [and expensive] city in the mountains, right along the coast [the best of both worlds!]) and Los Feliz, which is behind Hollywood. But apparently they never leave their houses or something because nobody ever sees them... Better believe it I am one of them! There are fewer churches in relation to number of people in LA than most anywhere else in the US. False. Not that I know of! We have a lot of churches, especially in Downtown LA and in the African American and Latino areas. There seems to be one on every corner in South Central! My Word! to comment on just a few
