He seems more interested in his sunflowers than her at that point, his eyes twinkling- something strangely endearing for a guy of his height and build.
"Planting things and gardening was something I have done ever since I was little. Before my parents were gone. It makes me happy and I hoped it would make you happy like it does me. I know you might not understand the same way I do, but I still hoped I could make you happy."
Something about the way he said that last sentence. His voice was comforting and warm, almost as if his tone was trying to speak for his heart. How he truly felt about Julia. Like he wanted to be the one to make her happy.
No one has ever given her a whole field of flowers before. Sure, technically he didn't really give her one, but with how he speaks about planting things and gardening and sunflowers, it almost seems like he did.
The wind picks up then, making the flowers sway. It plays with her hair too and she has to lift a hand to make sure it doesn't all fly towards her face. Her hair doesn't obscure her view of him, thankfully. No one's done something like this for her, just sincerely tried to make her happy with something so simple and beautiful.
Julia smirks, that trademark smirk, the one regularly seen in the big screen. She turns back towards the sunflower field and continues to watch the flowers sway in the wind.
"I think it's awesome."
And if that doesn't drive home the fact of Julia's approval of Ruslan's gesture then nothing else will.
She glances back towards the site and glances down at her watch. She still has an hour and a half before shooting starts again. It's not as if she really has anything to do until then. Her lines are all memorized and she's feeling well rested. She can spend a bit more time with Ruslan, especially since he doesn't seem to be some killer psycho out to get her.
"Not for a while yet." She tells him, turning her gaze back to meet his gaze. Julia wonders if he's got anything else to show her.
He didn't... really... have anything else. His house was rather small and nothing to look at. The town center was rather far.
The least he could do was put an arm around her shoulders and walk with her down the badly paved road that laid between the barren field she was shooting on and the sunflowers.
"You wanna get a snack?" Julia finds herself asking after some silence. It's probably a good idea to get something to eat as she doesn't know when she'll get to eat next. Better to be safe than sorry.
He looks behind them. Ruslan really wishes he could be better in social situations. Mostly since he feels slightly like an idiot for making her walk in the opposite direction.

Not as bright.
Just big and bright enough to know that she appreciated it and he was happy.
"D-do you need to go back...?"
He gestures behind him and to the army of trailers and cameras.
