Three!
[She nods, and lurches forward to grab the other woman by the hand, to tug them off toward the jungle.]

I didn't know they'd be so offended - ! ( said in a gasp, pulling the other woman off the path for a moment to throw the natives off )

Shaking hands with a half-naked tribeswoman's husband. Going under the list of things not to do in the future.
[She stumbles over a moss-covered log, ducks behind something too damn big to be considered a bush, and stumbles over some hidden rocks, trying not to fall and twist an ankle. That would be bad.]
Mind you, it'd have been a bit easier to resist if he hadn't looked like Fabio.

And shaking hands is kind of a two way street, don't you think? ( she dodges an arrow as it wedges itself between their heads, into the trunk of a tree )

And, personally, I think he was eyeballing you. That was definitely the word for breaAH--
[Whatever she was going to say is cut off abruptly as the ground disappears rather suddenly from beneath them.]

( and, the smallest splash! ) Oh, perfect. Wet.
( trillian sniffs and her nose wrinkles ) And smelly. I expect there's foreign goop as well.

[The crying villagers come close and pass by, cries resonating through the jungle and the pit they're in.] What the hell is this thing-- is that a tunnel? D'you think they know about this?
[She's absently wiping her hands on her jeans, trying to knock off as much of the muck as she can.]

( she winces as some lands on her head, mixed with the dirt from above ground. ) Can you see any designs, markings or something? Maybe that'll tell us something.
Erm, not that I'm a great interpreter, but y'know.

[She steps forward, feet squelching into the muck, and peers into the darkness in front of them. It's wide, open, gaping, and her feet hit something hard. Rock.]
I'm not seeing any markings. The good news is the goop ends there. I'm just hoping this planet doesn't have giant moles or something.

( her fingers feel along a crack in the wall, too smooth to just be any old crack ) Hmm, feel this. Y'think it can open up to something? ( please not some demon beast with multiple heads, she prays )

[She feels along her belt, digs in one of the flaps and tugs out a torch. It's tiny, like the type you keep on car keys, but when she pushes in the button, it's bright enough to see by, at least a few feet.] Suppose there's only one way to go. Unless you'd rather hunt down your husband.

Alright, let's see how far my amazing upper body strength can get us. ( not very far, but trillian's discovered a spot where her fingers just fit and she pulls the rock forward a few inches )
Reply
[She moves out of the way, but lifts the torch to get a better look. It makes a scraping sound, rock against rock, but it's loosening sure enough as Trillian tugs.]
Hey, look at you, that's brilliant. Nearly got it.

( she needs a moment to flex her fingers and crack her knuckles, but at least she manages to get a better grip on the rock, heels digging into the dirt )
