I thought it might nice to have something just for us. [ Not that he had any objection to Victor joining them, of course, but since they had agreed to give this -- them -- a chance it seemed like one way to get to know each other on relatively neutral ground. ]

And, I come up here when I need perspective. The quiet and the view works wonders.

Oh, I wish. I'm cutting back on the drinking for the new year, though. I'm afraid liver damage is a reality now - I can thank my hormones for that. [The drinking obviously had sped things along, though.]
