[A date. That seems normal enough, right? They'd had sex, he'd saved her life after she snuck out on him, the next logical step was definitely a date. And Caroline needs normal now more than ever.

With sun going down, her arm looped through his, the walk around the town square is actually pretty romantic. Though the dizziness she feels kind of ruins it. But that's what happens when you ignore the blood bags your mother brings you and hide them in your closet because each time you look at them all you can think about is how your dad tortured you. But right now, she's focusing on Tyler, the way he keeps in step with her.] Can you believe we start our senior year next week?

/INAPPROPRIATE TOUCHING

[Date is definitely the next logical step. Sex. Life-saving. Date. Honestly, he just wants to get things back to normal for Caroline. Remind her that things could be normal. Honestly, he could use a little touch of normal, himself. Especially since it hasn't been that long since the last full moon. Turning always makes him long for extra normal.

Tyler looks over at Caroline with a soft smile that turns to a laugh when she mentions school. Sometimes he wonders what people would think if they knew they were in classes with vampires and werewolves] I actually kinda wonder how I got this far sometimes.

[It feels normal, talking about school, about things she'd say if she was just a normal girl. It's hard to believe that this time a year ago, she was just another human girl, completely unaware of vampires or werewolves or witches beyond Twilight and TV shows.]

Don't even. [She bumps his shoulder with her own, playfully. Though it actually sort of hurts her. She glances at him, pulling herself closer to him with her arm looped through his.] You're smart and we both do okay at school. I just can't believe we're graduating.

[A year ago, he never would have believed that any of this was possible. He'd never believed that he would end up turning into a wolf during every full moon. Every full moon. For the rest of his life. That pain. That searing, inhuman pain. But he smiles at Caroline, despite what's going on in his head. There are no thoughts of school in his head. Just trying to figure out when the next full moon is. Trying to figure out what he can do for Caroline to just fix everything that his mother put her through] Well I sort of figured I'd be going somewhere with football. Scholarships and things. The rest of it was only important in that it kept me on the team. [He smiles, though, and covers her hand on his arm with his own hand] I can't really believe it either.

[Caroline isn't really thinking about school either, except for the fact she has to go back to that place and put on a face, pretend everything is okay. Normal. Other than that, she's trying really hard not to think about how she's starting to feel faint, her head pounding. It's been three days since it happened and she hasn't eaten since that one blood bag, the one she needed to heal.] You don't think you'll get a scholarship now? [Her words slur just a little before her knees sort of... buckle, her arm tightening around his to keep balance but it's not exactly working.]

/BREATHES ON ... SEXILY

No, I haven't really been- Caroline! [Quickly, he moves to wrap his free arm around her waist and pulls her up against him, to help to keep her upright. His brow creased with concern, he bends down a little to see her face. ...she looks so pale] Caroline, what's wrong?

[She blinks, she was honestly ready to hit the ground hard. But of course, Tyler catches her before she can slip to the ground.] I'm o-okay. Just got dizzy. [Except, you know, vampires don't get dizzy without a good reason]

/dims the lights

[Of course he caught her. Being a werewolf had to come in handy for something. Being quick enough to keep her from hitting the ground? Yeah, that's pretty hand. He gets in front of her and puts his hands on either side of her face, looking her over, into her eyes] Have you been eating?

/puts on Barry White

[See that, Tyler? She's avoiding your gaze. She averts her eyes but doesn't answer because she knows if she lies, he'll know. He knows her too well. And well, she's a lousy liar.]

/lights some candles

[Oh, he already knows, Caroline. The fact that you're avoiding his eyes? That, alone, tells him everything he needs to know] I know you don't want to, but you have to eat.

/pours the wine

[Her jaw sets and she looks at him, finally. Her eyes look almost empty, devoid of any sort of emotion. It's a look he's probably never seen before but the closest would be when he got her out of the cellar/dungeon.] I can't.

/spreads the rose petals

[He pushes her hair back from her face, concern dominating his entire being. He didn't think he'd care about someone this much. He was always the "dumb womanizing jock" stereotype. But now, here he is. He straightens ad kisses her forehead then wraps one arm around her shoulders, his other hand holding her head to his chest. The placement is on purpose. He doesn't know how vampires and their cravings work, but maybe the sound of his heart, knowing that's what pumps blood through his body, maybe that'll coax her into drinking some] Caroline, you have to.

/draw the bubble bath

[That's cheating and he knows it. At first, she closes her eyes as his warm lips press to her forehead, her shoulders slumping some. Then when he pulls her close to his heart, she feels that urge bubble up inside of her, the veins beneath her eyes fighting to come out and yet, she feels something even stronger, a wave of nausea.] S-Stop. [Memories flash through her head and it's almost like her skin is burning right then and there. With a sound, she pushes against his chest, trying to get away from his heart, from him, feeling like she might retch but she has nothing to vomit, not that vampires even do so.]

[Reluctantly, Tyler takes a step back from her when she pushes against him. He doesn't move far though. She still seems unsteady and he wants to be there to catch her if she falls] You have to eat something, Care. You can't do this to yourself. I can go and catch a rabbit for you or something. Just eat.
